This Privacy Policy explains how ROCKVINE GAMES - FZCO (“RockVine Games”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you play Poker Siege (the “Game”) on iOS and Android.
By downloading or playing Poker Siege, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Who we are
Poker Siege is developed and operated by:
ROCKVINE GAMES - FZCO IFZA Business Park, DDP, PO Box 342001 Dubai, United Arab Emirates Licensed by IFZA — Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZA), Licence No. 87092
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@rockvinegames.com.
RockVine Games is the data controller for the information described below.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Poker Siege mobile application and the related online services we operate to run the Game (accounts, cloud save, online matches, leaderboards, friends, and in-app purchases). It does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy policies (for example Apple, Google, and our service providers), which are linked in Section 7.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Game. We do not ask for your real name, postal address, phone number, contacts, or photos, and the Game does not request access to your device’s location. Note that some of our providers can infer your approximate (city/country-level) location from your IP address — see Sections 3.6 and 3.7.
3.1 Account and sign-in
To play and to save your progress, you must sign in with a platform account. There is no anonymous or guest account — an account is always created through one of the following:
- Apple (iOS) — Game Center (we receive a team-scoped player identifier, teamPlayerID, plus Apple’s cryptographic verification data) or Sign in with Apple (an identity token only — we do not request your email or name).
- Google Play Games (Android) — a Google sign-in/authorization code.
We send this verified token — never your password — to our account backend (Microsoft PlayFab) to create or access your game account. After you have signed in, we store a random identifier on your device so we can restore your existing session silently on later launches; it does not create a new account, is not a hardware identifier, and is not used to track you across apps or devices.
3.2 Profile information
- Display name — a nickname you choose. It is public to other players (for example on leaderboards and friend lists) and is filtered for offensive content.
- Email address (support only) — we collect an email address only if you choose to contact us through the in-app support form. It is not requested at sign-up, is never required to play, and is used solely to respond to your support request.
- Cosmetic selections — your chosen avatar, profile icon, banner, castle, battlefield, card deck, and unit set. These are public.
3.3 Gameplay and competitive data
We store data needed to run matches and rankings, including: wins, losses, win streaks, recent results, rank tier and rank points, leaderboard standing, head-to-head records against other players, in-game gold balance, and items you own. This data is server-authoritative (calculated and stored on our servers, not editable by the app).
3.4 Social features
If you use friends and challenges, we process your friends list, players you block, and your online presence (online / busy / offline). Presence is updated by a periodic signal sent only while the Game is open and you are signed in.
3.5 Purchases
Poker Siege offers optional in-app purchases of in-game gold. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never receive or store your payment card or billing details. To credit your purchase, our servers receive and validate the store’s purchase receipt, transaction identifier, and product identifier. That’s it.
3.6 Advertising and attribution
Poker Siege shows optional ads (for example, watch-an-ad-for-gold) through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may access an advertising identifier, your IP address (from which approximate location can be inferred), and ad-interaction data.
- On iOS, before any tracking we show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; ad behaviour follows your choice.
- Where required (for example, users in the EEA/UK), we present Google’s consent (UMP) form, and ad behaviour follows your consent choice.
We also use Singular, a mobile measurement and attribution provider, to understand how our marketing performs — for example, attributing an app install to the campaign that drove it and measuring ad performance. To do this, Singular collects device and usage signals (which may include your advertising identifier, IP address, and approximate location) when you install or open the Game — independently of whether you ever watch an ad in-game.
3.7 Device and technical data
To render the Game correctly and grant time-based rewards, we process a small amount of technical data: device type (phone vs. tablet) and screen characteristics, your device’s time zone (used to calculate daily/weekly login bonuses), and standard connection data such as your IP address. Your IP address may be used by us and our providers for security, fraud prevention, and to infer approximate (city/country-level) location. We do not collect IMEI or device serial numbers, and the Game does not access your device’s precise (GPS) location.
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) to deliver them. To do this, a push/registration token for your device is processed so notifications can reach you. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings; we do not use this token to track you across apps.
3.8 What we do not collect
We do not collect your real name, postal address, phone number, contacts, calendar, photos, microphone input, precise (GPS) location, or payment card data. Apart from the advertising and attribution partners (Section 3.6) and the push-notification service (Section 3.7), we do not run our own first-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK inside the Game.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- create and secure your game account and sign you in;
- save and sync your progress across sessions;
- run online matches, matchmaking, leaderboards, rankings, and head-to-head records;
- power friends, challenges, and presence;
- send you push notifications (such as match invites, friend requests, and game news), if you allow them;
- process and credit in-app purchases and prevent fraudulent or duplicate transactions;
- show and (where consented) measure ads;
- measure our marketing and attribute app installs to the campaigns that drove them;
- grant login bonuses and rewards;
- filter offensive display names and keep the Game fair and safe;
- respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Game, your account, online play, and purchases.
- Consent — for personalized advertising and tracking where required (you can withdraw consent at any time via your device settings).
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Game secure, prevent fraud and cheating, and improve reliability, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. If you stop playing, we may retain data for a limited period to support fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal/financial record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Game, and with the platform you play on:
- Microsoft (PlayFab / Azure) — our backend for accounts, cloud save, leaderboards, friends, matches, and presence. https://www.microsoft.com/privacy
- Apple — Game Center, Sign in with Apple, and App Store billing (iOS). https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Google — Google Play Games, AdMob advertising, and Google Play billing (Android). https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — push-notification delivery; processes your device’s push/registration token to send you notifications. https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Singular — mobile attribution and measurement (install attribution and ad performance; may process your advertising identifier, IP address, and approximate location). https://www.singular.net/privacy-policy/
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies. We encourage you to review them.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our players and our company.
8. Advertising and your choices
These controls are provided by your device’s operating system — by Apple and Google, not by Poker Siege:
- iOS — go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to allow or deny app tracking. When you deny tracking, iOS withholds and zeroes your advertising identifier (IDFA) for the app.
- Android — go to Settings → Google → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID and to opt out of ad personalization.
- Consent (EEA/UK) — where shown, your choice in Google’s consent form governs whether you see personalized ads.
Limiting ad tracking does not remove ads; it makes them less personalized, and it limits how our advertising and attribution partners (AdMob, Singular) can use your advertising identifier.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your account and associated data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent (e.g., for personalized ads);
- data portability;
- not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these, email support@rockvinegames.com and include your in-game display name so we can locate your account. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You can also request deletion of your account and associated data at that address.
10. Children’s privacy
Poker Siege is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 16 (or under the minimum age required in your country). It contains optional in-app purchases and advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International data transfers
We operate from the United Arab Emirates, and our service providers (Microsoft, Google, Apple, Singular) may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the providers’ equivalent mechanisms.
12. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our servers and token-based authentication. Currency, rank, and purchase outcomes are validated server-side. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Game evolves or as the law requires. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the Game or on this page. Continued play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
